Adamson Systems Engineering is a vertically integrated manufacturer, assembling a sophisticated high-end competitive product. Extensive in-house electronics manufacturing (surface mount PCB production) CNC parts production as well as, wet and powder coating and plastics moulding with Sheet Mould Compound (SMC).

We are looking to add another team member to our logistics team. As the **Logistics Assistant,** you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Prepare and verify shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, export declarations).Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs documentation and product certifications (e.g., CE, FCC).
- Arrange transportation with freight forwarders, couriers, and shipping lines to export loudspeakers safely and on time.
- Coordinate air, sea, or land freight depending on order size, urgency, and destination.
- Track finished loudspeaker inventory and ensure timely dispatch based on customer orders.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to manage stock movement and maintain accurate shipping records.
- Verify that loudspeakers and accessories (cables, manuals, mounting hardware) are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure proper labeling for international shipments, including fragile handling instructions and compliance labels.
- Work with freight providers to negotiate shipping rates and optimize container space for bulk orders.
- Assist in planning cost-effective shipping methods while meeting delivery deadlines.
- Monitor shipments in transit and update internal teams and customers on estimated arrival times.
- Address any shipping delays, customs hold, or delivery discrepancies.
- Inspect outbound shipments for compliance with product specifications and report any damaged or defective products before shipping.
- Work with customer service to handle product returns, replacements, or insurance claims for damaged shipments.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to confirm shipping schedules and resolve any logístical concerns.
- Provide customers with tracking details and delivery confirmations.
- Ensure all exports comply with international trade agreements, including duties, tariffs, and restrictions on electronic equipment.
- Stay updated on country-specific regulations for exporting loudspeakers and related electronic components.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, including freight costs, delivery performance, and customs clearance history.
- Generate logistics reports to support supply chain efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Completion of High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree would be an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience required.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Sound organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and demonstrate teamwork.
- Good physical stamina.
