We are looking for an organized, experienced leader for the positon of **Northern Operations Manager **to work out of our **Prince George **Branch. Reporting to our Executive Management Team at the Coquitlam Head Office, you will be responsible for ensuring our resources, equipment and infrastructure is being worked most efficiently, and to act as our liaison with our service partners West, North & East of Prince George.
- **Requirements**:_
- Completion of recognized post-secondary education in Business Administration/Management or related field, with five (5) years’ progressively responsible managerial experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Ability to travel; must own reliable transportation and valid BC Driver’s License
- Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia
- Strong knowledge of the LTL freight industry
- Proven proficiency with MS Office and experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively lead, manage and develop others
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and confidence in decision-making
- A positive attitude with a results driven mindset; must be self-motivated and able to work independently
