With shops located in Winnipeg and Brandon and a staff of over 90 passionate employees, OPS offers a wide range of services for our customers.

Oak Point Service currently has openings at our Winnipeg location for an experienced **Trailer / Tanker** **Journeyman Mechanic **and **Trailer / Tanker non-Journeyman Mechanic. **Under the supervision of the Shop Foreman, the Trailer / Tanker Technician performs routine maintenance and repairs to customer trailers, tankers, and pressure vessels. As an employee of Oak Point Service, you will be mentored and trained how to safely perform your duties with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

**Hours: Shift work including day, evening, and overnight.**

**About the position**:

- Performing consistent and accurate preventive and predictive maintenance inspections, identifying defects on company and customer equipment
- Properly diagnosing the cause of failure and perform required repairs safely, accurately, and in an efficient manner
- Ensuring safety of self and co-workers by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensuring professional and respectful conduct at all times, to all OPS customers and employees

**What you bring**:

- Minimum of 2 years transport trailer maintenance and repair experience
- Must be available to work shift work
- Must have own tools
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
