ERP Implementation Lead

We are looking for an **ERP Implementation Lead** who is responsible for end-to-end leadership of the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. This role is responsible for overseeing the overall delivery of the ERP program, ensuring alignment with business objectives, on-time and on-budget execution, and successful adoption across the organization. The ERP Implementation Lead serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, executive sponsors, implementation partners, and internal technical teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Program & Project Leadership**
- Lead the full ERP implementation lifecycle, including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live stabilization.
- Develop and maintain the ERP project roadmap, timeline, budget, and risk management plan.
- Ensure project governance, reporting, and escalation processes are in place and effective.
- Determine and maintain staffing and skills requirements.
**Stakeholder & Change Management**
- Partner with executive sponsors and functional leaders to define business requirements and success criteria.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business teams, IT, and external implementation partners.
- Drive organizational change management, communication, and user adoption strategies.
**Solution Design & Delivery**
- Oversee business process mapping and ensure ERP solutions align with best practices while meeting business needs.
- Guide decisions related to system configuration, customization, integrations, and data migration.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance throughout the implementation process.
**Vendor & Partner Management**
- Manage ERP vendors, system integrators, and third-party consultants.
- Hold partners accountable for deliverables, quality, and timelines.
- Evaluate trade-offs between cost, scope, and long-term system sustainability.
**Testing, Training & Go-Live**
- Oversee system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and defect resolution.
- Ensure comprehensive training materials and end-user training programs are delivered.
- Lead go-live planning, cutover execution, and post-implementation support.
**Required Qualifications**
- Proven experience leading one or more full-cycle ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong project or program management experience, preferably with complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Deep understanding of business processes across functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, or Operations.
- Experience managing external vendors and system integrators.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- ERP certification or formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Experience with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).
- Background in both business and IT environments.
**Success Measures**
- ERP implementation delivered on time and within budget.
- High user adoption and satisfaction post go-live.
- Minimal disruption to business operations during transition.
- ERP system effectively supports business goals and scalability.
