**What are we looking for? **Our team is seeking personable and motivated _**Top Talent**_ to support the company’s warehouse team as Warehouse Associate located in our Mississauga, Canada location. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for duties related, but not limited to pulling customer orders, loading trucks and receiving in product.

**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assign tasks, set daily goals, and monitor the performance of team members to achieve operational targets.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Coordinate and prioritize order picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and adherence to inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize inventory processes and maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce standardized procedures for order processing, quality checks, and inventory accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and industry regulations.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
- 1+ years’ experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of walling and flooring materials, construction terminology, and industry-specific warehouse practices.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
- Solid understanding of inventory management, order processing, and quality control procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team and stakeholder interactions.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.

**Hours of work**:This is a fulltime (40 hour) a week position with days and hours of work being Monday through Friday, between 7:00am and 4:00pm. Hours of work may vary based on business needs.
