- Material Handler**

Micronostyx is committed to providing Canadians with innovative and reliable products for Microbiology and Speciality Diagnostic testing. We are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The right person for this role will be comfortable on their feet (they’ll be standing/walking for at least 90% of their shift), eager to pitch in whenever extra help is needed, and passionate about being part of the Micronostyx mission.

**Objectives of this Role**
- Handle materials (Products) in a safe and orderly manner
- Unpack and load product onto pallets/shelves/refrigerators
- Assist with the timely fulfillment of picking, packing and shipping of products for loading onto trucks.
- Work as a part of a team to complete all warehouse tasks

**Daily and Monthly Responsibilities**
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trucks
- Pick appropriate product according to product and lot numbers
- Safely operate a forklift (following appropriate training)
- Assist in putting away new shipments of product inventory
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks in the warehouse

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Min. High school diploma
- Ability to read and write fluently in English
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift more than 30 pounds without assistance
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with shipping software (such as FedEX or ATS) an asset

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

- Stittsville, ON K2S 1E7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
