Although primarily focused on meat and proteins, Canex is expanding its product line to include other food products as well.

**About the Role**:
The Account Manager is responsible for securing revenue and profits by developing and maintaining customer relationships. Finding solutions in products, supply chain and inventory management for clients will be the main priorities.
Day-to-day functions will include things such as:
- Maintaining regular contact with customers, trying to understand their needs and developing strategies to address those needs.
- Working with buyers to ensure that needed inventory is on-hand and available
- Finding new channels of business and exploring opportunities to grow the book of business
- Coordinating with Accounts Receivable and take necessary steps to ensure receivables are collected in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring proper documentation is in place for all sales quotes, orders and invoices.
- Managing customer rebate programs
- Liaising with the logistics department to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of orders
- Managing inventory including shelf-life and lot management while maintaining appropriate inventory levels
**What we are looking for**:

- Excel at building and maintaining customer relationships
- Are excited about generating new customer leads
- Have passion about helping customers progress through the sales pipeline
- Can effectively manage margins
- Are capable of inventory management
- Enjoy negotiations
- Have Experience with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
Although not required, consideration will be given to those that have the following:
- Ability to speak Mandarin, or another language
- Experience with SYSPRO ERP software

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
