We are currently looking for a _**Part time Accounting Administrator**_ to join the Mabel’s Labels team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Part Time Administrator is responsible for a range of accounting and administrative duties which support the accounting functions. The Accounting Administrator is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services ensuring effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations while complying with established policies and procedures.

**A day in the life of a Part Time Accounting Administrator involves**:

- Accounts payable entry. Includes invoices, expense reports and other remittances.
- Process and pay vendor invoices and staff expenses.
- Cheque payments and daily banking needs.
- Filing and organization.
- Payroll preparation assistance.
- Identify issues/discrepancies that differ from policy and recommend an appropriate solution.
- Coordinate financial items with other departments within the company.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- 1-2 years of experience in admin or accounting. Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
- College Diploma or University Degree in finance or accounting.
- Numeracy skills to accurately complete data entry and ensure reasonableness of transactions.
- Attention to detail is crucial to verify the accuracy of data and the entry of financial numbers.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience working on accounting systems such as QuickBooks.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Access to a reliable vehicle to complete bank deposits.
- High level of organization and professionalism.
- Familiar with taxes and remittances.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
