Summary of position

The Sustainability & Environment Advisor will support our Director Sustainability & CSR in building the right environmental strategy around our products and services. We want to make sure that our strategy is driven by data and science to make sure that our transformation delivers the best environment results within our company level of ambitions. In partnership with the various functions, the specialist Sustainability & Environment will also be accountable to drive the execution of those strategies and measure our progress towards our goals.

**Responsibilities**:
Sustainability & Environment Strategy
- Develop and implement the environmental management system including measurable energy and sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Oversee environmental compliance for sites across Canada.
- Develop monitoring and auditing programs
- Support the Director S&CSR in looking internally within Belron and externally in our Market at best practices and emerging technologies / partners
- Monitor and track subsidies and other programs and assess risk and opportunities to Belron Canada business
- Support the Director in Building a strategic roadmap and multi-year targets for our environmental goals
- Align functional departments towards the integration of the responsible business strategy in all processes.

Leading Projects
- In partnership with local leadership, lead and coordinate execution of environment related programs and initiatives across Canada
- Coordinate sustainability and environmental assessments and supportive technical studies
- Coordinate and guide efforts to obtain environmental approvals and potential subsidies for projects from government/regulatory agencies

Data analytics & Reporting
- In partnership with colleagues (Finance, Real Estate, Opérations), support the development of the adequate data gathering systems to help measure our sustainability and environmental performance
- Prepare, review and make recommendation on Belron Canada performance in sustainability and environment for key programs includingrecycling and GHG emissions data (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
- Individually track progress and report on key sustainability and environment programs
- Support global reporting on Belron Canada Sustainability and environmental performance
- Support the development of corporate policies and procedures around ESG reporting for the key programs

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Engineering of Environment sustainability or related fields
- 3 to 6 years years’ prior experience in sustainability data processing including project coordination experience, preferably in emissions reductions, circular economy building energy efficiency, or in a highly regulated environment.
- Bilingualism (French/English)
- Knowledge of environment regulation, ISO 14001 and 26000, ESG reporting guidelines
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with a strong emphasis in Excel
- Strong team spirit
- Autonomous, proactive, good sense of initiative and responsibility.
