Our Shaw Brick division is currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for all aspects relating to the shipping and receiving of goods at the Store. This role will support our Yard and Customer Service teams, assisting with inventory and shipping accuracy at the Dartmouth Location/

**Responsibilities**
Key Responsibilities & Priorities:

- Coordination of delivery, including external driver and internal operator alignment
- Delivery Inspection and non-conformance monitoring, including relabeling when required
- Maintenance of ERP receiving data
- Late delivery management, including expediting and tracking
- Maintenance of receiving areas
- Management of production consumables
- Determine methods of shipment for outgoing products
- Ensure all paperwork required for loads is created and processed with each shipment
- Maintain inventory levels of products
- Reorder products when necessary
- Operate forklift in the yard as needed.
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
Basic Requirements:

- Equivalent of 2 years' of receiving, shipping, or production experience in a manufacturing or construction industry
- Knowledge of receiving or expediting
- Dexterity in logistics terminology
- Aptitude in decision-making and collecting and analyzing data
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
