Phoenix Petroleum Ltd. is recruiting for a Shipper/Receiver to help improve our logístical network between our suppliers and job sites.

About Our Opportunity:
As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible to organize and manage shipments, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from our Dartmouth location.

Main responsibilities:

- Commitment to working SAFELY
- Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborate and communicate with customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Maintain an accurate log sheet of all daily activities
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
- Understand the importance of process and procedure

**Required Skills**:
Using your planning and organizational skills, you will ensure the shipping and receiving processes are performed efficiently and target timelines are achieved. Supply Chain knowledge and experience, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills are imperative to delivering successful projects.
- Sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Receiving, stocking, and stacking
- Pulling, packing, and loading
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team

Qualifications and Experience:
A High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required with at least six (6) months logistics, retail, or customer service experience. You must be proficient in the Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Forklift license is considered an asset.

Working Conditions:
This position has a combination of office and field work. Field work occurs in adverse weather conditions and normal hazards associated with construction sites and working with or near heavy equipment are present.

This position may require mínimal travel. A valid driver’s licence is required.
