**Accounting Clerk/Major Unit Inventory Control**

Adventure Motors is a family owned and operated business for over 30 years, selling and servicing a full line of powersports vehicles, including BRP, Kawasaki, Legend, Marlon, Mercury and Forest River.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced environment.
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Review and balance internal accounts.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
- Manage unit inventory tracking system for sales department.
- Update inventory upon deliveries.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations for sales department.

**Required skills and education**:

- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong time management skills
- Good communication skills
- An excellent knowledge of finance and accounting
- Being adaptable to different working environments and different industries
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for learning new systems
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Proven accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in finance or accounting
