**Here is what you will do**

VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner in Mississauga (12-month contract position with possibility for extension). The HRBP will provide strategic advice and counsel to the leadership team on all aspects of human resources for his/her regions including talent management, diversity, organizational design, change management, workforce management, leadership, employee development, performance management and rewards & recognition.
- Contributes to and supports the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives.
- Drives and delivers HR initiatives to support business needs, such as talent development, employee engagement, management development and organizational change.
- Participates in talent reviews and succession planning processes to retain top talent and promoting professional growth within the ALC Group
- Ensures employee development needs are identified and acted upon through developmental assignments or appropriate learning intervention.
- Collaborates with management to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support improved organizational and employee performance in line with business objectives
- Coaches and guides Managers on daily employee relations and HR issues including progressive discipline and performance management.
- Supports line managers in drafting and reviewing performance improvement plans (PIP), performance correction notices (PCN’s) and various employment letters.
- Reviews and adapts human resource management policies, practices and procedures to adhere with applicable legislation when applicable.
- Manages all leaves of absences while collaborating with Managers and Payroll when facilitating return to work plans.
- Manages onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Updates and ensures the accuracy of employees data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Here is what you will need**
- A college or university degree, preferably in business specializing in Human Resources, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Bilingual in English and French is required
- Knowledge of G-Mail and Google Platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with autonomy.
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Knowledge of employment legislation across provinces, employee relations and HR best practices;
- Knowledge of HRIS (Workday) is an asset.
- Agreeing to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status, as a condition of employment.
