**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Advise and support management and employees on all HR-related matters including but not limited to; talent and performance management, employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, organizational design/effectiveness, recruitment and employee onboarding and retention;
- Understand business needs and challenges, develop solutions and influence outcomes with expertise;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with management and employees at all levels to realize the most effective outcomes of people plans and strategies;
- Lead key strategic HR initiatives as identified through corporate goal setting with sound project management skills;
- Lead and partner with business leaders to complete annual HR initiatives; provide visibility through clear communication of expectations and deadlines;
- Manage disability cases relating to short and long-term disability, WCB, CNESST, and/or WSIB claims;
- Analyze HR trends and metrics and develop solutions to address risk areas.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- A minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in progressively more responsible Human Resources roles, preferably having spent at least 5 years in a strategic, client-facing Human Resources Business Partner role with strong functional knowledge in all aspects of human resources practices, policies and programs;
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related;
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP/CHRL) Designation is considered an asset;
- Experience working in a federally regulated environment is an asset;
- A self-starter with the ability to work with mínimal supervision while maintaining sense of team;
- Exceptional ability to think through problems and implement solutions;
- Ability to work proactively with a sense of urgency and flexibility;
- Highly developed attention to detail, efficiency and time management skills;
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
- Bi-lingual highly preferred; written and verbal fluency in French;
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Previous experience with ADP WorkForce Now and/or Jobvite is considered an asset.
