We are looking for an energetic animal-loving individual to join our team. We are a fast-paced small animal practice in Langley.
The Job involves excellent client service, front office, and multitasking skills are a must along with a presentable friendly personality, team spirit, commitment and positive attitude with self-motivation to learn and grow. Applicants must be quick learners, have excellent communication skills, have an outgoing and friendly attitude, and take initiative in the workplace. Availability to work evenings, stat or weekends.
Work Experience is must in the similar field for at least 1 Year.
Job Responsibilities (Veterinary assistant):
Veterinary office management and client services
Booking & scheduling appointment; giving quotes.
Counsel clients on preventative animal health care, in
- person and over the phone
Assist veterinarian during health exam, medical procedures, and surgery
Handle, restrain and nurse animals undergoing treatment and surgery
Administer treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
Maintaining veterinary facility clean, tidy, and odor free
- Must be comfortable around all sizes of dogs and cats.
- Must have reliable transportation/ drive vehicle
- Minimum education: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Must be willing to learn medical terminology and medication information for patient care
- Must work well both independently and within a team
- Must be 19+
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
