Brookswood Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team to support our growing practice. We value the skills of a Veterinary Office Assistant and want them to be fully utilized. Some of your duties will include:

- Patient care; Responsible for basic animal husbandry for patients, administering medications under supervision of the doctor, restraint of patients for medical procedures/treatments
- Assist in patient monitoring under the supervision of a veterinarian or technician
- Preparing and sterilizing surgical packs and instruments
- Performing laboratory testing
- Housekeeping/maintaining overall hospital cleanliness

We are an independently owned, small animal practice located in Langley B.C - home to a number of great wineries and farms. With just a short drive you can be lakeside, ocean side, or on a hike in the mountains - lots of opportunities for amazing adventures

**Required**:
**Graduation from a recognized VOAC/VA program; or a minimum of 1 year experience in the veterinary field.**

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
