Server/barista

**Job description**

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot beverages, such as coffee, espresso and tea
- Take customer orders and process payments using cash handling skills
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Prepare and package food items, such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment and surfaces
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product levels

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee varieties is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

Preferably someone with an Italian background or someone that has bakery experience. Does not need to speak Italian.
