**Summary**

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our commercial properties. This position is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, maintaining and improving our commercial properties.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Strong problem solving skills with ability to troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair building components.
- Analyze equipment failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Work effectively with other team members and contractors, maintaining clear communication, delivering effective solutions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

**Skills**
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently and effectively.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills and experience.
- Maintenance/renovation experience an asset.
- Plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC experience an asset.
- Must have a valid New Brunswick Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Punctuality and regular attendance.

This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our facilities, ensuring a safe environment for all employees, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the organization.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
