We are seeking a full-time, highly motivated, and experienced Administrative Investigator with a strong legal or insurance background. Based in Barrie, Ontario, IRM is a highly respected investigative firm, and we are looking for someone with exceptional analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, a legal administrative background, and a keen eye for detail to join our expanding team

**Daily Responsibilities Include**:

- Reviewing and analyzing evidence collected in investigations, including identification and analysis of legal/regulatory issues.
- Reviewing and transcribing interviews and statements.
- Assist in the management of the investigation departments, including investigator scheduling, expense and payroll management, and file assignments.
- Preparing reports, gathering, and editing surveillance videos, and proofreading and editing reports.
- Conducting criminal record checks, certified plate searches, business ownership searches, and property ownership searches.
- Performing social media checks and preliminary social media investigations.
- Assist with special assignments, projects, and investigations.
- Ensuring compliance with statistics and special reports as needed.
- Assist with the client proposals and letters of strategy.
- Preparing and distributing client information packages.
- Assist with the preparation of expense reports, invoices, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Reviewing and preparing partnership agreements and RFPs.
- Register and arrange for tradeshows/conferences, travel, hotels, etc.
- Assist with the renewal of licenses, memberships, and dues.
- Ordering and maintaining promotional materials and sales products.
- Managing office supply inventory.

**Qualifications**:

- A Grade 12 education; completing college or other business administration courses would be beneficial.
- Law Clerk, legal administration, or insurance background is an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRMs, and the ability to learn new systems.
- Basic or better knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute or better.
- Experience in office administration and/or customer service roles.
- Fluency in written and verbal English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally and articulately with clients, vendors, team members, and management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team, achieving results collaboratively.
- Ability to withstand pressure, adapt to changing environments, and meet tight deadlines.

**Compensation**:

- $20 to $24 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

**Location**:

- In-office position in Barrie, ON.

**Language**:

- Must be fluent in English; proficiency in French or a second language is an asset.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Evenings and weekends if required.

**Expected Start Date**:

- Immediately.
