We are currently seeking a registered social worker to provide home care visits on a part-time basis (usually 2-3 days/week) to patients in Peterborough city and county. Visits may be in-person or a blend of in-person and virtual as determined to be appropriate between the clinician and patient/family.

Kawartha Therapy Services Inc. is a CARF-accredited (since 2013) Occupational Therapist-owned and operated company providing community-based rehabilitation services since 1992. Our **Community Social Workers** provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to individuals in their homes. We are currently seeking Social Workers for the following service areas:

- **Part-time Peterborough County**

Qualifications required:

- MSW
- Experience with clients who have an ABI, TBI or post-concussion syndrome
- Continuing education/coursework in Brain Injury
- Comfortable working in the independent, flexible environment of community care
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Adherence to timelines for reporting (within 7 days for initial, progress note entry, etc.)
- Familiarity with community resources in Peterborough county and surrounding in order to connect clients with long-term supports
- Have the ability to work from home office, and have access to a cell phone, tablet and/or laptop for electronic charting purposes (AlayaCare experience an asset, but not required) and virtual care service provision

PPE is provided by KTS. Clients are screened prior to every visit and contracted therapists are required to self-screen twice daily.
