Accounts Payable Specialist

Kongsberg Geospatial is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide finance and administrative support. This position is well suited for individuals with an administrative or customer service background and a passion for detail-oriented work.
This position is required to be onsite in the Kanata office 5 days per week.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Finance and Administrative Functions:_
- Assist Finance with incoming invoices and data entry.
- Assist with payroll and benefits data entry.
- Assist with various account and bank reconciliations.
- Work with suppliers and obtain quotes, create purchase requisitions and process orders.
- Support employees with company expense claims (data input and coding).
- Participate as a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Maintain various administrative tracking logs.
- Other Functions_
- Work with the social committee and help plan company events.
- Support ad hoc office projects as needed.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Maintain various administrative tracking logs.
- Diploma in basic accounting, office administration, or related field isa benefit.
- Administrative, customer service or similar experience.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with travel bookings, general office organization, andcoding employee expense claims is a benefit.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
