**The Role**
- Efficiently and accurately perform full-cycle bookkeeping services for a variety of clients and industries primarily using cloud-based software such as Xero and QBO.
- Record journal entries, complete bank reconciliations, and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and capital asset details.
- Prepare sales tax calculations, reconciliations and filings.
- Prepare month-end financial reporting for clients.
- Perform regular payroll duties for clients including calculating source deductions and T4/T5 preparation.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with clients and colleagues.

**What You Will Bring**
- 2+ years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping or a related role required
- Recent public accounting experience and familiarity with CaseWare, Microsoft Office, and Tax Prep
- High attention to detail and strong organization skills required
- Active certifications in Xero and QBO preferred
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Experience and an understanding of sales taxes and source deductions
- Experience in desktop based software such as Sage and QuickBooks is an asset
- Ability to excel in a fast paced environment, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and thrive under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Values teamwork, client/customer service, professionalism, community involvement, and personal and professional growth
- Experience with a public practice is considered an asset
