Job Description:
RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE

The Project Coordinator coordinates the planning and progress of procurement activities across the hospital, to ensure a balanced intake of work and achievement of key milestones. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to develop project plans. The incumbent will have demonstrated experience in project management and coordination, excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation and networking skills.

RESPONSABILITÉS
- Liaise with various Hospital departments to support procurement requirements of projects, convening stakeholders to understand scope and objectives of the procurement, including project timelines.
- Assist Purchasing Managers in the creation of an annual procurement plan.
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, and other related document deadlines, ensuring Purchasing Managers and applicable stakeholders are notified sufficiently in advance of options to make educated decisions on how to proceed.
- Manage collection of contract documents, including insurance, WSIB, vaccination certifications and security background checks, as required.
- Coordinate execution of contracts, extensions, and related documents on behalf of Purchasing Managers with third party vendors.
- Prepare and coordinate execution and submission of Letters of Commitment for Group Purchasing Organization undertakings.
- Prepare analysis and summary of results of clinical evaluations for Group Purchasing Organization contract activities.
- Coordinate vendor scorecard process with stakeholders, gathering ongoing feedback on current vendor contract performance.
- Coordinate various tasks and activities associated with Procurement and Materials Management activities, as directed by the Director or Procurement Operations Manager.
- Track all project related expenses against the approved budget. Report on project variances on a routine basis.
- Provides regular updates to the Procurement management team on the status of ongoing and upcoming procurement activities, including overall project status, reasons for delays to key milestones, procurement status and other related and relevant criteria.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Criminal Record Check (Essential)
- University Undergraduate Degree (B.A.) or related field or other appropriate combinations of education and experience, along with the demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position may be considered in lieu of stated education and experience (Essential)
- Procurement tendering and contract management experience (3-5 years) (Essential)
- High degree of interpersonal skills and partnership development experience (Essential)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment (Essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders (Essential)
- Strengths in public speaking and giving demonstrations (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment (Essential)
- Excellent organizational skills (Essential)
- Excellent MS Office Skills (Essential)
- Bilingualism (English/French) (preferred)
