Repel Technologies is looking to hire an experienced, full-time Low Voltage/Structured Wiring Technician to join our growing team. In this position, you will be working in our network of residential and commercial developers installing and servicing the various products and services we offer; security and CCTV systems, structured cabling and networking, home automation control systems, audio video equipment, and custom home theaters. Working independently and as part of a bigger team, you will be involved in a wide variety of job scopes and systems.

**JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Pre-wiring and rough-in of low voltage products (Alarm, Cameras, Tel/Data/Cable, Automation, etc.)
- Cable terminations (Cat5e/6, RG6, 16/2, etc.)
- Installation of AV components (ie: in-ceiling/in-wall speakers, projectors, screens, TV's, etc.)
- AV Rack assembly, wire dress-up
- Installation of motorized roller shades/drapery tracks
- Programming of Smart Home Systems we offer such as Control4, Lutron Homeworks, Savant
- Reviewing work orders/job details ahead of time and preparing equipment for jobs.
- Proper maintenance of installation notes and records, including wire diagrams.
- Must represent Repel Technologies in a professional manner, as you will be the face of the company at various job sites.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of low voltage/structured wiring experience for alarms, cameras, tel/data/cable, automation wiring
- Must be able to work independently without supervision and as part of a team.
- Hand Tools of the trade.
- Valid BC Drivers License.
- High School Diploma minimum.
