GESS Security is seeking an low voltage security technician to join our team.

Work includes installation, programming, and maintenance/servicing of the following:

  • Low voltage wiring
  • Security Cameras
  • Alarm Systems
  • Access Control Systems
  • Systems Networking
  • Intercoms
  • Data/Communication
  • Service call
  • Site assessment
  • Phone support

Requirements

  • You will be required to work outdoor, rooftops, on the ladders, in attic and crawlspaces and construction sites with PPE
  • Attention to detail
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to keep learning
  • Independent
  • Honest
  • Ability to take direction and function in a team environment and/or work alone.
  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • Trades Qualified (TQ) – OR – Security Alarm Installer License is preferred
  • Motivated to continue education in learning new products
  • Low voltage electrical tools and safety gear (i.e.: Steel toe boots)
  • Flexibility to work after-hours and out of town on occasion, as required;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Strong command of English, verbal and written;
  • Excellent documentation skills;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
