Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation systems, including Lutron, Savant and Crestron Home. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems in high-end residential settings alongside your co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Install and programming of home automation systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately install wiring and equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within specifications.
  • Provide technical support for computer hardware and networking issues related to low voltage systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the electrical or telecommunications field.
  • The ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation effectively.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
