UCSH is looking for a full time **Low Voltage Technician **position. This position requires to travel in British Columbia.
**WHAT’S THE JOB ABOUT?**
Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:
- Install, maintain and repair low voltage systems including access control systems, electronic devices and automatic door operators
- Perform all required installation tasks for assigned projects, include but not limited to pulling cable and wiring
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan system installations
- Troubleshoot and test installed systems to ensure proper functionality
- Provide technical support to stakeholders on system operation and maintenance
- Travel to various job sites within B.C.
- Other duties as assigned
**WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS**:
- 1- 2 years of experience working with low voltage system installation is preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is an asset
- Familiar with construction industry
- Ability to read low voltage diagram, blueprints and schematics
- Working knowledge of using basic hand tools and power tools
- Able to do heavy lifting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially in excel
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle, and comfortable to drive to different job sites
- Strong organizational and time management skills
