Cassellholme, a not for profit, charitable organization, operates a 240 bed Long-Term Care facility serving residents 18 years of age or older who have long-term health care needs as well as a Community Support Services program that supports seniors' independent living. Cassellholme is located in the City of North Bay which is situated within 3 ½ hours of both Toronto and Ottawa. Nestled between beautiful Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake, the district offers both urban and country living, with multiple recreational opportunities.

Cassellholme is currently seeking a FINANCE ASSISTANT

**What can I expect to do in this role?**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Finance Assistant** to join our Finance team Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Assistant supports a variety of accounting and administrative functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement documentation, and Board operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process billing statements, EFTs, and record payments across multiple service areas.
- Support accounts payable functions, including invoice matching, credit card reconciliation, and vendor maintenance.
- Assist with procurement contract tracking and administrative support for redevelopment projects.
- Maintain documentation related to funding, governance, and Board operations, including meeting minutes and public postings.

**How do I qualify? Mandatory Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts payable/receivable and office administration.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Detail-focused, analytical, and highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to manage sensitive information with discretion and work independently.
