Accent Inns (the hotel with a rubber duck in every room) and Hotel Zed (rebels against the ordinary) are searching for a **Group Happiness Expert (Full Time)** to join our **Customer Happiness Hub.**This is an in-person role located at our **Richmond, BC** location, **no remote option available.**

The **_Group_**_Happiness Expert_** provides relationship-based customer experiences while maximizing revenue, reinforcing our unique brands and establishing meaningful human connections all while living our core values and contributing to our awesome workplace culture. **As an expert in Group/Corporate, you have the ability to ensure our corporate and group clients have the rooms they need and the service that makes our hotels the easiest to work with.**

**What You Do**

As a Happiness Expert you deliver on three main pillars:
**1) Create memorable brand touchpoints that drives loyalty**

**2) Drives sales by booking more rooms and maximizing yield**
- Don't leave any money on the table. Ask questions to uncover opportunities, use storytelling to showcase why our properties are the perfect fit for the customer and ask for the sale.

**3) Be the communications and service center for customers,**specifically for group bookings**:
As a Group Happiness Expert, you manage reservations of more than five rooms because you can best manage inventory, ask the right questions to uncover the group's specific needs, and go above and beyond to make them love us.
- You aim to make us the easiest (and most fun) hotel to work with.
- Handling of group forms from the sales team and make the reservations requested in the form.
- Run reporting and follow up with the sales manager regarding group rooming lists, cancellations, pick-up, and payment.
- Handling of dedicated customer service lines for key corporate clients to provide a seamless customer service experience for the client.

**What You Need**
- **Available to work in-person at our Richmond location** - **no remote option available**:

- **Previous sales and/or hotel experience is preferred**:

- Fun loving nature
- Easy conversationalist
- Extra-sensory perception to how others are feeling
- Tech-savvy systems expertise
- Multi-tasker who doesn't crack under pressure
- Sleuth like problem solving skills
- Good grammar and writing skills
- Front desk or reservations office experience an asset, but we are also happy to train
