The Role

The Project Manager is a support role within eSentire’s Cyber Security Team and facilitates the timely delivery of key Security Programs. The Project Manager will support the development of success requirements, key milestones, timelines, resource impacts across all key projects, identify communication plans to facilitate organizational buy-in and support post launch feedback to ensure smooth operational hand offs.

Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary under the general supervision of the Deputy CISO.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and communicate key objectives, milestones, resource impacts, timelines, and success criteria
- Prepare project status reports to report on progress, risk, issues, and recommended solutions
- Developing project timelines for ongoing security improvements

**Qualifications**:

- College degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent professional experience
- 1 to 5 years of work experience in Security, software, or IT industries business.
- Project Management Skills

o. Strong understanding of critical PM concepts such as milestones, task dependencies, risk and issue tracking, status reporting. Ability to effectively lead an engagement team, making effective and efficient use of project resources, identifying and resolving complex problems/issues related to people, processes, and technology and strategy, both internally (organizational) and externally (client/engagement/project).
p. Strong understanding of, and ability to execute project management methodologies and tools
q. The ability to function in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment, make quick sense of it all and add value beyond just a task-oriented doer or project manager; display strong oral and written communication skills from the top down; demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills.
r. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and balance conflicting demands
s. The Ability to manage projects and teams that do not always report through the same department
- Excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Have a PMP certification

Desirable (but not required)
- Bachelors or associated degree
- Familiarity with Security Awareness Training (SAT), Identity Access Management (IAM) and Vulnerability Management programs
- 1 - 5 years' experience managing information security and/or IT risk management projects
- A working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
