**The Opportunity**

**What You'll Do**
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards) and have good research skills in ASC regulations
- Oversee the preparation of monthly supporting schedules, journal entries, analyses, and documentation for financial statements and disclosures
- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements
- Manage the external audit process, including coordination with auditors, preparation of audit schedules, and communication of audit findings to management
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to financial reporting and accounting
- Create financial reporting policies, procedures, and improve current systems in place.
- Prepare and deliver stakeholder reports, including financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other financial data
- Identify areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to streamline financial reporting processes
- Provide technical accounting guidance to accounting staff and other departments as needed
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations and communicate the impact to management.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to inform the company's growth strategy

**What You'll Bring**
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required, and a professional accounting designation such as a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) is required.
- At least 2-3 years of professional designated experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing is typically required.
- A strong understanding of US GAAP and GAAS.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- You're self-aware and open-minded - functioning with a high level of emotional intelligence and an inclusive approach
- You're reliable and self-motivated - excited by fast-paced work, and are able to work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Understanding and exhibiting a high emphasis on patient privacy and confidentiality
- Exceptional time management skills, exhibiting sound judgment, and the ability to multi-task is paramount
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity, able to work independently, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities beyond traditional financial reporting.
