**The Company**
B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

**Position**
Financial Reporting Manager

**Introduction**

**Location**
This is a full-time position based at B2Gold Corporate Office in Vancouver, Canada with a flexible work arrangement option available.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Review site financial reporting, supporting working papers and related accounting issues;
- Provide guidance to site teams on financial reporting and accounting matters;
- Prepare complex consolidations and adjusting journal entries, as part of the reporting requirements;
- Analyze and document complex technical accounting issues, including preparation of associated memos;
- Assist in preparation of quarterly financial statements and management discussion and analysis;
- Liaise with external and internal auditors;
- Review operational life-of-mine plans and annual budgets;
- Provide, coordinate and review information requests for the tax team as required;
- Supervise and mentor finance team members;
- Assist in maintaining and upgrading the Company’s accounting systems;
- Travel to the company’s operations, as required; and
- Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar field from an accredited university or college;
- Professional accounting designation is required (CPA or CPA, CA preferred);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry or public practice post-designation;
- SOX experience in the mining industry is preferred (either in public practice or industry);
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Ability to work with different cultures across different time zones;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment but also available to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Ability to think strategically with a big-picture mindset;
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Additional Desired Qualifications**
- Prior experience in mining industry is strongly preferred.

**Job Demands/Physical Requirements**
- This position is based out of our Vancouver head office with periodic international travel required, which may be at short notice.
