**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers to facilitate optimum production rates, maintain required tolerances, and maximize tool life and adhering to specifications.
- Expertise in setup for 5 -axis Haas Milling Machine will be an asset.
- Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, product drawings, technical requirements and customer specifications.
- Verify accuracy of finished machined parts using precise measuring instruments. (Micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
- Daily reporting to production manager.
- Will be required to comply with the company ISO Quality procedures, company policies and safety and environmental regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of machine shop process, including turning and milling.
- Problem solving with quality control reporting and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Working with tight tolerances.
- Understanding of ISO 9001.
- Ability to communicate across team and continually improve processes.

**Education/Experience**:

- College Diploma/ CNC Certificate
- Minimum 3 years work related experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
