Cimmaster Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Lathe and Mill Setup/Machinist to join our team. We are a fast-paced precision machine shop specializing in complex turned and milled parts. We are hiring an experienced CNC Setup/Machinist that is excited to learn and develop with our team. We value trust, teamwork and the desire to continually innovate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC Lathe and Milling Machining Centres to facilitate optimum production rates, maintain required tolerances, and maximize tool life and adhering to specifications.
- Expertise in setup and programming for CNC Mazak Lathe and Mill using Mazatrol
- Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, product drawings, technical requirements and customer specifications.
- Verify accuracy of finished machined parts using precise measuring instruments. (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Will be required to comply with the company ISO Quality procedures, company policies and safety and environmental regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Extensive knowledge of machine shop processes, focusing on turning and milling.
- Problem solving with quality control reporting and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Working with tight tolerances.
- Understanding of ISO 9001.
- Ability to communicate effectively across a team and continually improve processes.

**Education/Experience**:

- College Diploma / CNC Certificate
- Minimum 7 years work related experience setting up and operating a variety of CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- machinist: 7 years (preferred)
