CNC Machinist (independantly program (Mastercam 2023) setup and operate Boring mill

Re-strike machine and tool Inc. is a manufacturers of precision machined components and complex sub-assemblies used in sophisticated machines, our medium sized precision machining facility has a great team of self motivated and very capable tradesmen that specialize in delivering tight tolerance machined components. Re-strike specializes in quick turn around high precision machining, precision weldments and assemblies, delivering to tier 1 customers in a wide range of industries. We are currently looking to grow our team with the addition of an experienced CNC Milling machinist specifically with strong capabilities and experience on Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls and programming using Master-cam23. This opportunity is for an experienced machinist with minimum 5-10 years experience with precision parts mostly 2D with some 3D.

Day shift 7:30am - 4:30pm with overtime as required.

Afternoon shift 3-11pm

Location:Mississauga (Airport rd and 407)Responsibilities
- Setup, Program and operate horizontal boring mills CNC machines
- Create program as required from solid models and from scratch
- Trouble shoot and edit program as required.
- Select tools and edit program as required
- Measure offsets
- Inspect all finished product and compare details to specifications on blueprint
- Work in compliance to company documentation and quality system

Required Skills and Experience:

- Minimum 5-10 years experience CNC Programming and setting up of Boring mills specifically TOS and Heidanham controle
- Experience performing multiple daily custom machine set ups.
- Experience specifically with heidanham control
- Ensure effective production of quality parts by completing in-process and final checks using gauges and measuring equipment;
- Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with little supervision.
- Completion of a General Machinist Apprenticeship would be helpful, but not required.
