Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; Set-up CNC machining centers including mills, lathes, EDM's and various toolroom equipment by installing and adjusting fixtures, vises and chucks in order to safely secure workpieces.
-Including, but not limited to various mold and die components in any material.
-Program using latest Mastercam software, Version 2023/2024
-Verifies machine settings by measuring work/tool offset positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.

lubrication, coolant, and maintenance for optimal machine production.
Knowledge of CNC tooling
Willing to train the right individual who is willing to learn and grow with CANASTAMPI inc.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Salary: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
Hourly pay is to be discussed based on a minimum of 3 -5 years experience
Recent graduates from an approved college/CNC trade school will be considered for junior level machinist positions.
