We are currently looking to add a new role to our team**:Production Coordinator**

** Summary**

The Production Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the production floor. This position is responsible for coordinating production schedules, maintaining inventory records, tracking progress, and acting as a liaison between various departments such as production, quality control, procurement, and logistics.

** Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
- Track raw material usage and finished goods to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Work closely with supervisors and leads to resolve production delays or issues
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of production data, downtime, and output
- Assist with planning maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly production reports
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

** Key Qualifications**
- High school diploma or GED required; Post secondary education considered an asset
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel or metal industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, production orders, and specifications
- Familiarity with safety regulations and manufacturing best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
