**About This Role** **Context**: CAE TSC department is growing, and the accounting team is looking to expand its team with a IFRS lead. Other than the monthly tasks associated to reporting, the IFRS lead would manage the portfolio of complex projects in the civil division. Join a dynamic team in a growing environment This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious person looking for new challenges. **What we offer**: - An opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment - Flexible Group Insurance Plan - Defined Benefits Retirement Plan - Employee Stock Purchase Plan - Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) - Physical Wellness Plan - Employee Assistance Plan - Supplementary Maternity Plan - Flextime and possibility to work from home occasionally - Act as the finance business partner for certain business units, operations, FP&A and accounting. - Prepare strategic ad hoc financial analysis requested by Management, highlight key observations, and present them to Management. - Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. - Professional accounting designation (CPA) mandatory. - Minimum of eight years of relevant experience. - Experience in writing IFRS accounting position papers - Strong knowledge of IFRS. - Demonstrate initiative, leadership and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. - Demonstrate problem solving skills and an ability to provide recommendations. - Capable of working in a dynamic and changing environment. - Demonstrate good organizational skills and ability to prioritize, while working in a result-driven environment. - Demonstrate a strong attention to details. - Knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Knowledge of HFM/HP considered an asset. - Bilingual (French and English).
