**Primary Role**:
Genesis technicians are technology enthusiasts who combine their obsession of customer service & technical expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver beautiful, reliable, easy-to-use systems for our clients. Working in teams, techs are self-starters who plan their work, use skill and creativity to solve problems, and deliver client systems on time and on budget.

**Primary responsibilities**:
1. Site monitoring and control: working closely with the project manager, assisting in the installation of the system, while coordinating site resources and ensuring that work is carried out according to plan and according to standards of Genesis Integration.

2. System functional test: After installing hardware and wiring, perform functional testing of the system, making sure that all components are operational and that the wiring has been installed according to the instructions.

3. System Setup: Downloads, tests, and corrects software items, such as DSP and control programs and projects.

4. System Preparation: Ensure the system meets all functional criteria, ready for commissioning.

5. Handover to Customer: May be required to complete a system review and training with the customer.

6. Programming: With the support of the programmer, update and correct the programming files provided.

7. Service: Execute service calls based on requests.

8. Participate in internal and vendor training to ensure you stay up to date on technology and solutions.

The Technician will report to the Production Manager and will work with Project Management, Service Coordinators, and Programming and Design teams.

**Hiring criteria**:

- Diploma in electronic engineering technology, specializing in unified communications or any other relevant sector (preferred).
- 3 or more years of knowledge and previous experience with AV system installations and services with direct work experience in construction, electrical, electronics or related field.
- Knowledge of networking and wireless transmission.
- Computer knowledge.

- Customer Experience: Proven ability to build rapport with customers and diffuse situations, avoiding escalations.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well and collaborate with direct and indirect members of teams.
- Autonomous: Must be able to identify work requirements and act without waiting for management.
- Meticulous: Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, while ensuring completeness of tasks and projects.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
