Medical Office Assistant

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries, and tasks put out by the practitioners
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Creating invoices and Processing private billing including square payments
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning
- Sterilization of medical equipment
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a medical office 1-3 years is preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems is essential. ( willing to train on our system if not familiar (OSCAR)
- knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- must be a self starter and take constructive feedback well
- Familiarity with office phone systems and administrative duties.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
