Leads the Inventory Governance & Control team. Owns the responsibility for having accurate inventory control (location & quantity, both physically & electronically) for material procured to support Machine Assembly operations, for both on-site & offsite warehouse locations (including locations associated with the _Outbound_ program).

**Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability**:

- Closely monitors inventory control processes:

- Cycle counting
- Stock checks
- Inventory reconciliations & adjustments
- Warehouse transfers
- Develops governance (policies, processes, work instructions & closed-loop feedback tools) to assure processes remain in control
- Audits the effectiveness of processes & personnel to accurately control inventory
- Maintains accurate statistics on excess, slow moving or obsolete inventory & provides feedback to Global Supply Chain & Inventory Analytics teams
- Audits the inventory return process
- Designs & implements KPIs & metrics to monitor the health of processes & the effectiveness of the team
- Designs & implements scheduling tools to coordinate the various functional responsibilities of the team, including the coordination of cycle counting activities to ensure blocked locations do not affect the activities of the Pre-Staging team
- Maintains world-class housekeeping standards within in the areas managed by the Materials team
- Provides direct daily supervision of team members to ensure safe, clean & efficient work environment
- Applies sound communication & motivational techniques when supervising & coaching
- Completes & delivers team member performance reviews
- Fosters a team environment that promotes continuous learning
- Communicates company goals/philosophies/strategies to Team Members
- Conducts team safety meetings & provides input to increase safety in the workplace
- Supervises daily clean-up of production areas & maintains world-class housekeeping standards
- Assess training needs for staff, as well as temporary workers ensuring that all department personnel are appropriately trained & that the training satisfies the company’s training requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education (College or University Degree in Engineering, Business and/or Manufacturing Systems preferred) coupled with 3 years demonstrated competency through work experience.
- 2 - 3 years progressive experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.

**Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Possesses an intense focus on details
- Possesses strong leadership & motivation skills
- Has well-developed scheduling & organization skills
- Has good understanding/awareness of Husky injection molding machine architecture, assembly processes & component nomenclature
- Has strong working knowledge of the various ERP sessions used to manage Materials functions
- Is aware of Husky quality management systems
