One of Europe and Canada's leading equipment services providers is looking for a Bilingual Credit and Collections Specialist to help strengthen their billing & collection processes to scale with the company’s long-term goals.

**Your Role**:

- Monitoring, maintaining and documenting the status of all past due accounts
- Contacting customers and establishing reasons for past due account situation
- Making arrangements for payments to bring account current and following up to make sure all customer discrepancies are resolved
- Maintaining a very detailed collection call log, providing updates and follow-up reminders
- Collect overdue accounts over 60 days for all accounts, this includes updating the client file with detailed call results and escalating if required
- Weekly review and reporting of collections metrics to track progress against monthly forecasted goals

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5 years or more experience in Collections
- Strong legal understanding
- Knowledge of collections procedures
- Strong communications skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
- High energy with strong desire to deliver results
- Positive attitude with a “Can do” mentality
- Ability to respond to potentially tight deadlines
