The Central Services Coordinator is the initial point of contact for staff to engage central services including Technology Services, Employee Services and Financial Services. They will triage and monitor incoming service requests to the internal ticketing system for all teams and monitor internal phone requests. They will provide employees support and training for in-house systems and processes, and escalate issues as necessary to the appropriate team/person. They will also co-ordinate the employee on-boarding and off-boarding process.

**POSITION DUTIES:
- Monitor phone calls and incoming service requests (averaging over 200 per week) for all central teams and respond, triage, assign and escalate issues appropriately
- Provide support to users to trouble-shoot issues with devices and systems to solve simple challenges and update information when issues are escalated
- Support users on student information systems such as edsembli and School Messenger.
- Provide user support on Office 365 products for example mail merges, setting up Bookings, etc.
- Assist employees with training and troubleshooting human resources and finance systems and procedures
- Track and respond to requests from staff regarding divisional policies and processes
- Make recommendations when processes and policies require updating
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate team or team member
- Ensure staff are correctly on-boarded by monitoring account set-up including the completion of MFA, door access cards, and assist with Employee Services data entry tasks
- Monitor staff who are retiring/resigning or on a leave to ensure devices, including phones and laptops, keys/access cards, are returned and any data transfer is handled appropriately
- Regularly monitor and update the Technology Services Asset Database
- Monitor new staff and new assignments to ensure that laptops are available and deployed to staff in a timely manner
- Work with all central services to assist with design systems and processes to better serve the organization
- Assist with the evergreen process and device deployment
- Assist with school systems set-up to deploy and install hardware and prepare student information systems for the new school year
- Other Administrative duties assigned by the Director of Technology Services

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
This position requires high school certification and a minimum of two years of experience working in a school division, preferably within in multiple departments. Post-secondary education in information technology, human resources or a related field is an asset. A high level of computer literacy is required and the ability to assist less resilient users gain knowledge and confidence is required.
