Finance Manager

**Position Summary**:
The Finance Manager is responsible for structuring vehicle purchase transactions to meet the needs of the customer while maximizing dealership profit. This role involves working closely with the sales team to secure financing, offer protection products, and ensure legal compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. A strong focus on customer service, product knowledge, and attention to detail is essential.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Engagement & Financing**:
- Present financing, leasing, and aftermarket product options clearly and professionally.
- Secure approvals through lenders and credit unions with timely submissions and follow-up.
- Assist customers in understanding financial obligations and documentation.
- **Product Sales**:
- Sell protection products such as extended warranties, GAP, tire and rim, and theft protection.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on program changes and incentives.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:
- Ensure all deals are compliant with AMVIC and federal lending regulations.
- Prepare and review all required paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.
- Protect customer information and maintain strict confidentiality protocols.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with sales managers and product advisors to support deal closing and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with accounting to ensure funding is received and paperwork is reconciled properly.
- **Reporting & Goals**:
- Track and report on finance product penetration rates and overall gross per deal.
- Meet and exceed department objectives for profit per vehicle retailed (PVR) and product attachment.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive finance, sales, or a related role.
- Valid AMVIC license and understanding of Alberta financing laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in DMS, CRM software, and lender portals.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
