**Duties**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and work areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Perform administrative duties such as managing inventory of dental supplies and processing patient billing.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve office efficiency.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in dental assisting or as a dental receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
