At least 2 years work experience in a Private Healthcare provider clinic ( preferred )

Knowledgeable in using EMR Software (preferred)

Detailed knowledge in IINSURANCE BILLING required

Knowledge in WSIB and Motor Vehicular Accident (MVA) preferred

Excellent communication both oral and written and excellent people skills

Highly proficient in computer, basic accounting, Acrobat, Office 365 Word and Excel

Can effectively work independently or as a Team member

Reliable mature decision-making

Punctual

Trainable

With great Initiative

Can multi-task

Owns a reliable vehicle to come to work

**Summary**

As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be a vital team member responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. With core skills in Microsoft Office, data entry, and phone etiquette, you will handle various clerical tasks, greet visitors, and manage phone calls efficiently. Your premium skills in QuickBooks and office experience will enhance your ability to assist with financial tasks and office management. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer support and medical office experience will contribute to maintaining a professional and organized office environment. **Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist visitors, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage incoming calls, taking messages and transferring calls to the relevant departments.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite for data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.
- Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure office supplies are stocked.
- Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Uphold professional phone etiquette and customer service standards in all interactions.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 2 years (required)
- Accounting: 2 years (required)
