**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
- The Accreditation Associate is a member of HSO’s Accreditation Canada Diagnostics team. In this role you are responsible for supporting a new Accreditation Assessment Program under our philosophy of People Powered Health and continuous quality improvement. You will work closely with our Accreditation Coordinators to support building the capacity of clients to plan for accreditation, to prepare for the onsite visit by assessors, to provide post-survey support and to support organizations on their continuous quality improvement learning journey. The Associate also supports the team by carrying out administrative tasks, working within strict timelines to keep the team organized and managing pertinent information for ease of access by various team members. In this role, you will need to be a multi-tasker You will take on various tasks simultaneously and contribute to improving processes. You can take joy in working alongside and learning from other dedicated and compassionate team members across Accreditation Canada and Health Standards Organization.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Working closely with the Accreditation Coordinator to support organizations with their accreditation survey processes from end-to-end to respond to the unique needs of the clients.
- Organizing and coordinating internal and external activities within a clearly defined and limited scope.
- Gathering information and providing administrative and client support to the Accreditation Team.
- Performing tasks (e.g., preparing reports) by utilizing clearly defined and established procedures and processes.
- Working under the direction of your people manager, plan and organize your own time within set schedules and routines.
- Providing administrative, technical and process support to aid the diverse needs of the team.
- Gathering information from a variety of sources and analyzing data/information.

**Must Have Qualifications**:
- Degree or college diploma in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Three to four years of progressive and varied administrative experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail with strong editing skills.
- Adept with using and learning technology.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Client focused, able to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify root causes of challenges and assist in developing effective solutions in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Are familiar with our accreditation process.
- A proven ability to work under pressure while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Are familiar with the health care environment and the role of best practices.
