As a porter within the Volvo Cars Lakeridge you work with a group of professionals at the top of their game. Assisting the sales and service teams and supporting the departmental and our customers needs is your top priority.

Lakeridge Auto Gallery is looking for a full time Porter to join our team who have an enthusiasm and a great attitude. Excellent work ethic and problem solving skills are a must. Previous experience is preferred however for the right individual we are willing to train. We offer competitive compensation and room for advancement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dealership premises, including the showroom, exterior, service area, and customer waiting areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with any inquiries or requests they may have. Be an ambassador for the dealership, presenting themselves with professionalism at all times.
- Assisting with dealer trades, picking up and dropping of cars, shuttling customers and other driving tasks, running errands etc.
- Assisting Service and Parts Departments as needed. Moving small and large items.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth operation.
- Organizing, washing, gassing, counting and displaying inventory.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping and sanitizing.
- Work to ensure the security of our vehicles and property.
- Maintain a clean drivers record and operate our vehicles with a high level of care and concern.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Car Dealership: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
