Currently, Paquin Entertainment is seeking an Accounting Summer Student who is eager to learn and has a strong work ethic. The Accounting Summer Student will be responsible for assisting the Accounting team with a variety of tasks such as month/year end processes, entries, and reporting.

The Accounting Summer Student will report to the Director of Finance. The role will be performed on-site and on a part-time basis, anywhere from 20-35 hours per week as needed.

**Duties and responsibilities** **include, but are not limited to**:

- Assisting with all areas of company visa processing
- Aid in journal entries, most specifically related to interim reporting
- Assist with Intercompany entries
- Support with year-end processes
- Complete bank requisitions
- Processes adjusting entries
- Complete external financial reporting
- Other related duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Working towards a Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration or related degree with a focus on accounting and/or finance
- Prior full cycle accounting experience, project/production experience an asset
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, be highly productive and have the ability to perform tasks with accuracy
- Exemplary planning and time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrated aptitude for strategic, analytical, and critical thinking
- Self motivated with a desire to learn and a strong work ethic

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
