**Summer Student - Sales Development**

As a Sales Development Summer Student with Western, you will leverage our internal database to contact and qualify potential clients over the phone before passing them to a Sales Representative to close the transaction.

**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Utilize internal database to pipeline leads and drive new business
- Contact approximately 100 leads per day for sales qualifying calls before passing qualified leads on to the next stage of the sales process
- Collect client information to ensure their eligibility for various programs and document carefully to ensure a smooth transition to the Sales Representatives
- Contribute to overall strategy by providing status updates to leadership regarding wins/challenges and opportunities for growth

**The value you bring**
- Strong customer service experience, preferably over the phone
- You demonstrate exemplary communication skills by easily breaking the ice with new clients and effectively gathering and sharing information
- Excellent note taking and clear documentation
- Sales experience is an asset

Hours: Full Time, Summer Term: May - August 37.5 hours/week

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Salary Range: $21/Hour
